Fiber Color ID

Fiber cable chart

Every fiber in the cable, laid out the way the identification sheet is: one row per tube, one column per position, and the fiber’s number in the whole cable in each cell.

Every chart here is free to look at, in full — any count, loose tube or ribbon, any number of fibers per tube, including a color order you build yourself. Printing one is free for standard loose tube up to 144 fibers; past that the print-ready sheet is paid.

TIA-598-D (USA) is the default for everyone — no sign-in, nothing to set up. If your cable is built to another country’s order, choose it above: the colors are the same twelve, but the order is not, so the wrong one is wrong at every position.

A thread around every 12. The colors start again under each thread, so no dash count is shown. Set from your choice, not from the cable — the cable sheet governs.
